I taught English Abroad for many years and developed a few websites for my students in PHP (LAMP Stack) and hosted them from a spare computer in my side room.
This website originated from the code I started building for my students while there.
Tech Yogi
I have some years of programming and technical roles.
A few things I have coded are on Github here - Github
I developed a VBScript program to interface with the mainframe at US Bank. At JC Penney, I wrote programs to automate deployment of computers and physically connected servers and switches for remote maintenance at one of their biggest data centers. In my most recent role, I worked as a System Analyst contractor with T-Mobile through EDZ Systems for their Sprint merger and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for my contributions. I coordinated efforts with Subject Matter Experts, Network and Authentication teams, for Legacy T-Mobile and Sprint applications to ensure the authentication had been updated to work across both the Legacy Sprint and T-Mobile networks and assisted the development teams with code adjustments when needed. While there, I created applications in Power Shell, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, and also helped manage our team's Sharepoint site.
I have a B.A. Degree in Anthropology from the University of Missouri and an Associate of Arts Degree from Longview Community College.
I grew up around computers. I had 2 years of Cobol programming in a Unix environment in High School Vo Tech and spent a lot of time reading man pages. I originally went to college for Computer Information Systems before changing majors.
